Relationship between animal welfare score by the assessment system for dairy cattle and behaviour of dairy cattle

一般社団法人アニマルウェルフェア畜産協会が農場認証に使用している乳牛のアニマルウェルフェア評価法の妥当性を検討するため，農場のアニマルウェルフェアスコアと乳牛の行動との関連性を調査した．放牧4戸，つなぎ牛舎3戸，フリーストール牛舎3戸の合計10戸において，動物，施設および管理ベースから構成される評価法を用いてアニマルウェルフェア評価を行い，搾乳牛の行動，姿勢および起立・横臥動作を調査した．身繕い行動は総スコアと有意な負の相関を示し，身繕い行動の欲求を高める疥癬症の有病率と正の相関傾向を示した．睡眠姿勢である頭を体に乗せた横臥姿勢は管理スコアと有意な正の相関を示した．起立動作の所要時間は管理スコアと有意な強い負の相関を示した．この他にもスコアと搾乳牛の行動，姿勢および起立・横臥動作との関連性が明らかとなった．これらの結果は本研究で使用したアニマルウェルフェア評価法の妥当性を示していると考えられた．
